6.25" (15.9 cm) long Stegosaur (Adratiklit?) Thagomizer (tail spike) from the El Mers III Formation of Boulahfa, Morocco. 166 Million Years Old.
This is a very rare find. I cannot be sure about which species because the thagomizers (tail spikes) have not yet been described on either species of stegosaur. This fossil has been glued backed to gether and does have the typically moroccan glue coating. The last 0.3" is a bit suspect but we beleive the outer edge of the bone peeled off during prep.
