1" Afrovenator tooth from the Tiouraren Formation of the Agadez region of Niger. This exceptionally rare tooth from a very old collection and is a rare find. This tooth is likely from Afrovenator, a 27-foot long megalosaurid theropod. There are serrations present on both carinae. The mesial serrations stop about 1/2 to 2/3 down the tooth. This is a spectacular tooth from Afrovenator, preservation from this formation is pretty rough and this one of the best teeth I have seen. Between 167-161 Million years old.
