0.81" (2.08 cm) Afromimus? Tooth from the Elrhaz Formation of Niger. 113-121 million years old.
This is a very unusual tooth. There are 10-12 mesial serrations per 5 mm, and 22 distal serrations per 5 mm. The tooth has the shape of an Abelisaur but it is thicker than most Abelisaurs. Noasaurs often had a size difference in serrations but not Abelisaurs. Sadly, Afromimus had no skull material described, so I can only lean towards this tooth being Afromimus.
